Course Information

They're not making them like Hyde Park Golf Club anymore. Located in Jacksonville, Florida visitors can play virtually the same course that was designed by the legendary Scottish architect Donald Ross in 1925.

The gorgeous Southern pines and Spanish oaks that line the course are even more mature and majestic than they were 80 years ago that lend's a special aura to the playing experience. Since the layout has not changed, you can play the same course and face the same shot-making decisions as the legends of the game.

The Jacksonville Open, which evolved into the PLAYERS Championship, began at Hyde Park. A regular stop on the mens and womens professional tours in the '40s and '50s, Hyde Park was the site of Mickey Wright's first official pro victory.  Sam Snead, Byron Nelson, Babe Zaharias, Patty Berg and Louise Suggs all were tested at Hyde Park as well.  In fact, if you keep it in single digits on the sixth hole, a Par 3, you'll beat Ben Hogan's (11) that he took one year playing at Hyde Park.
